ABOUT ABOUT

North Pole Inc. is hosting its annual Elf Appreciation Party. You and all of your elf co-workers will be there dressed in your best elf attire, but this office party will be anything but boring. Someone has offed the gingerbread man and it's up to you to figure out whodunit, what weapon they used to do it, and where they hid the victim's magic hat.

What happens at the mystery party

This is a mystery game played similar to Clue. You will search for cards throughout the playing area to mark off your case card and identify the guilty party. Along the way, you will also find various opportunity cards allowing you to interact with other players differently. These cards may permit you to see other players' cards and eliminate suspects, etc, from your list. You may find that Each card has its own rules describing what action the finder is to take. You may do a little bribery or gambling, perhaps even a little blackmail, maybe fall under a gnome curse or two. With the right card, you can ally or act as law enforcement to stop all the shady deals. You never know what cards you’ll find -but use these cards wisely, and you may be the first to discover the solution and win the game!

Each attendee will receive a character to play via email and the gameplay rules. Please read all the information ahead of time so that you will understand how the game is played. Dressing as an elf is optional but will definitely add to the fun. Your character card may inspire you on what to wear, so check your email for your assigned role information a few days after signing up. Shortly after the ticket sales have stopped, you will receive a formal invite with your character information and pre-game instructions (this helps get you into character for party night). You must send us an RSVP email stating that you have received your part and understand everything. You can also use that time to express any concerns or questions. We will email everyone the week of the party; RSVP to that email as well!

Timeless Cullman will provide pizza and drinks. We ask that each attendee also bring a snack or dessert to share. Drinks will be provided throughout the evening (Punch and Water)

Event Policies

Attendance and Part Assignment

Arrive by 4:30, and we will get you checked in. Do Not buy a ticket if you are not sure you can come! Everyone will be given a part to play; therefore, it is vital that you show up. Emergencies are okay, but we ask that you please call us or email us if you cannot attend. This is VITAL, allowing us time to assign your role to another attendee or allow someone on the waitlist to attend. If you are going to be unexpectedly late or have an emergency and need to cancel, PLEASE CALL 256-531-9549, as everyone will have a part to play, and someone not showing or arriving late can ruin the party.

Your correct email and phone number are crucial for this party! You will receive all your essential party information via email or text message. Please make SURE you give an active email and double-check to ensure we have the correct email. You must also let us know you have received your part assignment. If we do not get an RSVP email from you after you receive your part, your ticket will be canceled, and your part will be given to someone else. Everyone who attends must be willing to play the game.

Parents are welcome to sign up and volunteer for this event. Please visit the timelesscullman.org volunteer page or email Jennifer Garcia at [email protected].

All homeschoolers ages 9 - 12, regardless of church cover school or address, are invited to attend The Cullman Homeschool Prom. Additionally, a homeschooler may bring up to two non-homeschoolers as guests.

Are there any other rules or guidelines I should know about?

As few as possible…. But we must have some to keep the Event a safe, secure, and comfortable place for everyone. Enjoy yourself and be considerate of everyone else!
